About Virginia Tropics

I have always wanted to have a house in the tropics, so when my wife and I bought a house with acreage in 2005 I started to grow cold hardy tropical plants in our yards. I really enjoy sharing my garden successes and tips with my friends and co-workers, and I'm excited to be able to share them with the Internet gardeners though this blog!
